Zivhu builds house for widow in Chivi North

Masvingo-Chivi Rural District Council chairman Killer Zivhu is constructing a house for a widow known as Elizabeth    Chinogayaya who was left with her husband with six children in Chivi North.

Speaking to Talent Chinogayaya on behalf of the family said she greatly appreciate the efforts by Zivhu for transforming their lives, saying she never expected to be remembered by the Chairperson.

She admitted that they had never lived in such a beautiful house ever since she was born and she never dreamt of building one because they are languishing in poverty.

“I am happy for what Zivhu is doing for us, l can see a better future because we could not afford to build a house for our own” said Talent.

The village head Elliot Madyangove said he was overwhelmed with the love of their councillor for letting Zivhu know the terrible living conditions of Chinogayaya family.

He added that they are volunteered to build the house for free to help the orphans.

“Zivhu is a blessing to this family because no one was going to build a house for them, he will forever be remembered” said the headman.

The councillor of ward two Saunders Nyika Magwizi also acknowledged the good works of the Chairman, saying some leaders are not helping their people, but Zivhu has made a difference.

“Zivhu has sacrificed a lot of money for this house to be constructed, not all leaders are doing this for the people they lead.” he said.

Zivhu is also building houses for widowin Chivi central.
